Today I was able to receive my mentorship certificate and as of now I am officially a credited master mentor. This is 2 years after I was able to achieve my coaching certification and now, I am officially both coach and mentor. (they are different though some think they are the same)
Though many know me as periodontist (specialty in dentistry) but since I was 20, I became so fascinated with how a person can touch another one’s life by being able to coach and mentor that person. Since I myself was a product of several mentorship and coaching of several experts who helped me to form and shape my beliefs based on what I wanted and be aware of those beliefs which were stopping me from growing, I have realized how passion of sharing my life experiences and being able to coach and mentor others in any way I could had been ignited in me.
Two decades later and after support and encouragement of many I have was able to obtain the certification from a very liable and accredited institution.
This has brought another opportunity for me to be able to officially pursue what I am passionate about and take this opportunity seriously. Though professionally I am occupied with my clinic but this doesn’t mean I cannot do what I love (which is mentoring and coaching of others) as a sideline and next to my daily activities.
Though I have had started mentoring and coaching years ago as a sideline passion, even in the field of dentistry (by giving lectures and private mentorship programs) and sometimes as a life coach but it is nice to see the certification and accreditation has come itself.
The incident happened via accidental research and later sponsorship of the courses. Two years ago, I was able to finish the coaching program and just today finished the mentoring one.
What amuses me is the feeling I myself feel after each mentoring or coaching session and how the feeling is a reflection of the person, I am spending the mentoring and coaching time with.
I couldn’t be more grateful for such opportunities knocking on my door and more than happy being able to grab these on time.
After 20 years of longing for this level and status, I now am holding official statements making me even more powerful and motivated to continue touching other’s lives by helping them realize what they can do and achieve and more than that what a person they can become in life by tapping on their potentials and subconscious self.
There is a miracle in each of us waiting to explore and shine. Many time we need a coach or mentor to enhance a skill or even carve out the diamond in us. There may be a coach or a mentor who can do that for us.
